Auto-Apply Recommended Patches¶

The System Patches package is capable of automatically applying entries in the recommended patches list. When this feature is enabled, the package will apply recommended patches during package installation and at each boot. This ensures the latest patches are applied after package updates and firmware upgrades.

Note

This feature is opt-in, and administrators must enable it manually.

To enable this feature:

  • Navigate to System > Patches

  • Click the Enable Auto-Apply button under the Recommended Patches list

To disable this feature:

  • Navigate to System > Patches

  • Click the Disable Auto-Apply button under the Recommended Patches list

  • Click OK on the confirmation dialog

To ignore auto-apply for specific Recommended Patches list entries:

  • Navigate to System > Patches

  • Check Ignore Auto-Apply next to each Recommended Patches list entry to ignore

To stop ignoring a patch, uncheck it instead.

  • Click Save

Note

These checkboxes are only active when the auto-apply feature is enabled.
