Recommended External Antenna Specification¶

There is a built-in antenna on the GPS Lure, as well as a U.FL connector for an external GPS antenna. The system will automatically switch to the external antenna when it is connected.

It is important that the antenna gets a clear view of the sky and is positioned on a surface level to the horizon for best results.

Here is the manufacturer’s recommended specification for a suitable external antenna:
