Connecting to the Console¶
There are times you may want to access the console, perhaps you have accidentally locked yourself out of SSH or you may want to assign a new password.

Connecting to the console port. Cable is required.
SSH is normally used to connect to the CentOS command line. SSH is enabled on port 22 on the default install with the login credentials listed below.
At the first display enter
root at the login prompt and press
CentOS Linux (Core) Kernal 3.10.0-123.e17.x86_64 on an x86_64 Localhost login:
password as the default password at the prompt and press
You now have root access.
